3 Doors Down has become one of the most dependable rock bands to deliver mind-boggling performances since their formation in 1996 in Mississippi. Selling millions of albums worldwide since their creation, and making headlines around the world since, 3 Doors Down remains one of music history's most successful bands despite numerous line-up changes since 1996. While most members have come and gone over time, Brad Arnold and Chris Henderson remain constant members who appear on every album and were key in creating epic hits like "Kryptonite", leading fans back for more!

Brad Arnold first heard a rhythm while writing songs in math class at Escatawpa, Mississippi. Hearing an infectious beat in his head, he started tapping on his desk with his pencil to create an impromptu beat that later became known as 3 Doors Down. Along with Matt Roberts who played bass alongside Arnold and Todd Harrell who became lead guitarist, Arnold formed 3 Doors Down along with regular radio airplay from Biloxi station WCPR where their catchy single "Kryptonite" quickly created buzz that resulted in sold out shows and record label interest.

By 2000, 3 Doors Down had released their debut album The Better Life and secured their place among radio's leading acts with hits like "Loser" and "Duck and Run."

Given their legendary live shows, it's no secret why Candlebox have continued to play to sold-out crowds all around the globe. This summer they will join special guest Candlebox on what will likely be their final US tour.

As we prepare to welcome back Sturgis Buffalo Chip, we had a chat with drummer Brad Arnold about their legacy and new tour plans.

DN: Nearly twenty years have passed since you released your debut album and five since your last full-length, Us and the Night. Are there plans for any upcoming projects or collaborations?

BAR: We're constantly finding new ways to give the audience something fresh while staying true to our sound. Over time, I think we've managed this successfully without compromising our style or altering any aspect of the music itself.

3 Doors Down are an American rock band formed in Escatawpa, Mississippi in 1996 by Brad Arnold (vocals and drums), Matt Roberts (guitar), and Todd Harrell (bass guitar). Over time they became known for their post-grunge sound with lyrics influenced by emo culture.
