The Eagles have become one of the most celebrated bands ever, selling more than 200 million albums globally and reaching six number-one albums and 15 top-10 singles in the United States alone. Furthermore, they have won two Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards as well as being honored inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Glenn Frey and Don Henley formed the band in 1971 along with guitarist Bernie Leadon and drummer Randy Meisner, which achieved great success during its early days, selling over 40 million records worldwide and reaching number-one on five albums (One of These Nights, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, Hotel California and The Long Run) during this era. After regrouping for Hell Freezes Over in 1994 and continuing touring together until the release of Long Road Out of Eden (2007) - their first studio release since 1980!
