City and travel

Most fans drive: take the Wantagh State Parkway or Meadowbrook State Parkway south toward Jones Beach and follow signs for the theater on Bay Parkway. Without a car, take the Long Island Rail Road Babylon Branch to Freeport or Wantagh, then a 10–15 minute taxi or rideshare; the old concert shuttle bus no longer runs. Allow extra time after the show, when traffic out of the park is slow.

Parking

General parking is in Fields 4 and 5 inside the park, and Field 5 is closest to the entrance. VIP, premier and accessible parking is in lot 5A off Bay Parkway and needs the matching pass. A parking pass does not include event admission.

Bags and house rules

Bag rules are set by the venue and can change from event to event. Check the venue's policy for your date before you go.

Best seats

The seating bowl faces the stage and the bay, with reserved sections in front, a larger middle section and upper rows above. Every seat is open-air, although the back rows of the lower area sit under the mezzanine overhang. Bring a layer: evenings by the water can turn cool. Check the seat map for your date before you buy.

Ticket prices

Weekend summer nights draw the biggest crowds here, and a co-bill like Matchbox Twenty with David Gray on a Sunday in July is likely to be in high demand. Seats on the resale market can land above or below face value, and the price you see at checkout already includes fees.
