San Jose tickets

Buy San Jose tickets online

San Jose’s headline room is SAP Center, still nicknamed the Shark Tank — Sharks hockey and arena tours on the downtown light-rail loop. BuyTickets.com has sold South Bay tickets as independent resale. This page is not the Sharks, not Ticketmaster, and not AXS. All-in prices show before you pay; we do not claim “no fees.” 100% ticket guarantee — valid tickets, on time, or we make the order right. PayPal Park hosts Earthquakes soccer on a separate map. Chase Center (Warriors) is San Francisco; Levi’s Stadium (49ers) is Santa Clara. Tech-week visitors mix peninsula and South Bay listings constantly. When primary sells out — a Sharks playoff push, a soccer rivalry week, a Silicon Valley tour hold — compare resale listings here. Open the performer or venue page for the date. Checkout stays on checkout.buytickets.com. Resale moves with demand through 2026. Need a person? Call 855-855-6777.

Pro sports: San Jose Sharks at SAP Center; San Jose Earthquakes at PayPal Park. Downtown Cesar Chavez Park, the Tech Interactive, and Santana Row frame South Bay stays. Parking passes are not game tickets.

A little history

SAP Center opened in 1993 as San Jose Arena and collected Compaq/HP naming before SAP — home of the Sharks through the tech boom. South Bay’s ticket identity stayed distinct from San Francisco even as search results blurred.

Landmarks and places to see

Downtown plazas, the Tech Interactive museum, Santana Row shopping, and Diridon Station’s transit web sit around SAP Center nights. PayPal Park is its own approach — confirm before you book a hotel solely for walkability.

Hometown acts and athletes

The Doobie Brothers’ San Jose ties and Smash Mouth’s South Bay story still surface on local bills. When a hometown or legacy Bay Area act hits the Shark Tank, compare all-in totals early.

How the map splits

Downtown / Diridon for SAP Center. PayPal Park sits on its own Earthquakes campus map. Santa Clara football and San Francisco basketball are other cities on the row.

Local tips

VTA light rail and Caltrain beat circling downtown on sellouts. Never assume a “Bay Area” search result is SAP Center. Parking passes are not game tickets.
